Al Bahia is a coastal residential area north of Abu Dhabi, on the E11 towards Dubai, with Al Shahama beside it and Al Rahba further along the road. It is a neighbourhood of villas and family compounds on quiet streets, with the beach on the doorstep and Deerfields Mall as the nearest place for shopping, a cinema and groceries. Yas Island is across the water, and the drive into the city is one straight run down the highway. Families choose Al Bahia for the space, the beach and the distance from the traffic of the island.
