Madinat Al Riyad City is one of the newest residential cities in Abu Dhabi, laid out to the south east of Bani Yas and close to Al Wathba, with Al Shamkha and Mohammed Bin Zayed City within a short drive. It is being built for Emirati families in phases, so wide new streets of villas sit next to plots that are still under construction, and many houses have only just been handed over. The community is growing month by month as more families move in and the roads, mosques and shops around them are finished.
That makes cleaning here a particular job. Construction dust from neighbouring plots drifts onto sills, window tracks, outdoor seating and the tops of boundary walls every day, and a villa can look dusty again within a week of a clean. New homes also arrive with the builder still on them: paint spots on tiles, cement haze on the floors, protective film residue on glass and grit in every drawer. The first clean after handover is a bigger job than a regular visit, and we plan it as one.
Once a family is settled, a regular schedule keeps the dust under control.
