Shakhbout City was known as Khalifa City B until it was renamed, and both names are still used on delivery apps and in conversation. It sits on the mainland between Khalifa City to the north and Mohammed Bin Zayed City to the south west, with the Abu Dhabi to Al Ain road running past it, which puts the airport, Masdar City and the malls of Mohammed Bin Zayed City within a short drive.
